Aloha Friday

Friday Yay! And Good Friday too! My hubby and son are off to Bass Pro for the day and i home enjoying the peace! Except I get to clean today.
Thanks to An Island Life for Aloha Friday!
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My Question:
What's your favorite holiday?

My Answer:
SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!!
I don't know exactly why, but I absolutely love St. patty's Day! I'm just a smudge of Irish and green isn't my favorite color and I'm not a big drinker at all. So I'm not sure what intrigues me about it. But I love the feel of it, the happy cheerfulness, the cute little lephercans and pot ol' gold! I'm not one for beer, even if it's green, but I defiantly wear green and try to go all out! I also love that it's not a holiday that your suppose to do major things with or other family obligations. It's just a laid back type of holiday that you can do little or go BIG!

  1. I love all of the holidays. I tend to go a little overboard because of the kids but they're only young once so who cares!

  4. I have never heard anyone say that before about St Pat's day & I think it's great! I used to love Halloween & Christmas but living in the sticks is a bit different from decorating in the suburbs.

  5. Hi Jenna!

My favorite holiday is Christmas because of all the decorations. Plus, it seems to bring out the kindness in people that is usually well hidden.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
